Used to rock. Now its LAME!!

Once you achieve a certain point, its impossible to farm and save enough to advance to next level.
You continue to get obliterated for massive resource losses, but when you search for opportunities to recover, no real value appears.
I believe this is being done on purpose by Space Ape to force you to spend REAL MONEY.
